Walter Carrera was born in Bergamo in 1991.
Aged 14 he got his first reflex camera for a solitary journey in south England, and since then he never separates. He studies Communication Design at Politecnico di Milano and is attending a Master class in Photography at Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan. The subjects he loves investigating are architectures, urban and industrial scenarios. He takes pictures to breath the solemnity of wide spaces, the poetry that arises from them and tells every time different stories. Digital native, he now is turnign back to analog experimentation.
He works as a photographer of reportage, still-life and architecture, not forgetting the world of film-making. In his spare time he accompanies tourists to discover the wonders of his territory. He speaks Italian and an excellent English, a little Spanish and French.
